Accelerator Focus Areas
Built on the pillars of resilience and decarbonisation, our programmes target the entire spectrum of emissions in the urban built environment, including embodied, operational, and supply-side emissions. Our focus areas include:
Materials
We aim to reduce embodied carbon by transforming material use in construction. The Accelerator promotes use of low-carbon materials across key emission categories like concrete, steel, aluminium, blocks, paints and tiles alongside innovative techniques to minimise emissions and environmental impact.
Know MoreEfficiency
We wish to enhance energy performance with passive design and efficient equipment, with strategies such as passive thermal comfort solutions, BLDC fans, and advanced air conditioning to reduce energy use and operational emissions while improving livability.
Know MoreEnergy Transition
We plan to lead the shift to renewable energy by integrating solar, wind, and other clean energy sources aiming to drastically cut reliance on fossil fuels and set a benchmark for sustainable energy integration.
Know MoreClimate Resilience
We intend to build future-ready assets to withstand physical climate risks. Initiatives like the use of climate data, efficient stormwater management, urban heat mitigation, and water conservation ensure sustainability while protecting communities against environmental changes.
