Designed to be a path paved with discovery, learning, and innovation, the Lodha Genius Programme is a joint initiative between the Lodha Foundation and Ashoka University. Going beyond the ordinary route of providing scholarships for 10th class or 12th class scholarships, this multi-year educational programme is fully funded and nurtures India’s brightest young minds from Grade 9 to their early career. The programme provides the students with a unique blend of immersive science and mathematics courses, practical life skills lessons, sustained and regular support from mentors and exclusive access to prestigious internship opportunities.

When a student joins the Lodha Genius Programme, they become a member of an exclusive community which grows into a strong, supportive network of mentors and peers as they progress in their studies and careers. It complements all major examination boards, enabling students to take their studies further and to understand the career paths available to them in their chosen fields.

A snapshot of the programme

Lodha Genius Programme comprises an annual four-week Campus Experience at Ashoka University combined with year-round Continued Learning. It is a fully-funded programme which includes transportation, accommodation, access to high-end facilities, meals, mentorship, access to courses, resources and opportunities.

Our vision with this initiative is to significantly increase the proportion of Indians who will reach their full potential as changemakers, leaders and philanthropists by nurturing and inspiring the nation’s brightest young minds and instilling in them the spirit of giving back to the nation and society.

The tenets of the programme

SPARK

Some students are fantastic at school—eager and curious to learn and consistently at the top of their class. They’re a natural with numbers, and science lessons come easily to them. But could they do even more? If the answer is ‘Yes!’, then the Lodha Genius Programme is the perfect place. This programme is designed to ignite their potential, opening up a world of lessons and experiences they truly deserve.

ACCESS

At the Lodha Genius Programme, students discover new ways to learn. With access to resources, people, state-of-the-art equipment, ideas, and inspiration, they can broaden their perspective on science and mathematics. They are exposed to a wide range of interdisciplinary science and mathematics modules, hands-on workshops, inspiring seminars, immersive field trips and extracurriculars to dive into while on campus at Ashoka University and through continued learning for the rest of the year.

COMMUNITY

Students can be a member of a community of brilliant, supportive, inspiring peers, many of whom can become future collaborators to further each other’s research and projects over the years. Meeting annually on campus at Ashoka University, friendships, partnerships and collaborations will evolve and grow. As each of them carves out a unique path, they’ll inspire and encourage one another, celebrating both individual achievements and collective progress along the way.

OPPORTUNITIES

A newly-assigned mentor at the Lodha Genius Programme will guide students towards the right opportunities: contests like an international physics olympiad or international mathematical olympiad, certifications, internships and other learning pathways. Whether they head towards research or entrepreneurship, or in another direction of their choosing, the network of peers and mentors they build along the way will continue to enable their growth and help them reach full potential.

RECOGNITION

Exciting and innovative work by the students will open new doors to further opportunities for them and their collaborators. Whether it is a research breakthrough, advances in technology, business growth, environmental impact,or social change, their groundbreaking work will earn them widespread recognition, celebrated not only by peers and mentors but also by a global audience.
