Lodha and Ashoka University launch 'Lodha Genius Programme'

Lodha has launched the 'Lodha Genius Programme' in collaboration with Ashoka University, a renowned interdisciplinary research and teaching university. The primary objective of this program is to aid exceptionally talented students in Grades 9 to 12 in achieving their full potential and inspiring them to give back to India by furnishing them with academic, financial, mentoring, mental health and other resources. This initiative is one-of-a-kind since it provides individualized, ongoing support to exceptional students, with the ultimate goal of developing the future leaders of our country.

Guided by our philosophy of 'Do Good, Do Well,' which directs us to acknowledge our duty towards building a better society and a stronger nation. Our focus is on identifying and nurturing highly competent students in India and supporting them in achieving success in their respective fields. We firmly believe that when capable children are unable to realize their potential, it not only hinders their growth but also that of society and the nation. Hence, we aim to play an active role in addressing the barriers that hinder a child's progress. The 'Lodha Genius Programme' is a
crucial step in our efforts to drive collaborative and large-scale solutions to provide a promising future for our talented students.

The programme offers an array of fascinating prospects that assist individuals in their growth, learning and goal attainment, by granting access to unique workshops, industry-expert mentorship and chances to engage in innovative projects that will push students to think beyond their limits. The programme encompasses:

a) Curriculum designed and delivered by prominent professors from renowned universities worldwide, as well as experts in the field
b) Engaging the students over multiple years, starting with a four-week intensive summer module at Ashoka University, followed by continuous mentoring
c) Facilitating interaction and fostering strong connections among high-achieving students from across the country through peer-to-peer learning
d) Furthermore, the programme will provide 100% scholarships to students.

The Lodha Genius Programme has been crafted to offer extensive support until the completion of the student's education. Students will receive ongoing guidance throughout the year, along with a 4-week intensive summer program at Ashoka University, to aid them in their pursuit of excellence. The first year of the programme focuses on Mathematics and Natural Science, with lectures delivered by distinguished mathematicians and scientists from India and other parts of the world. It aims to establish a strong foundation for success through continual mentorship,
support and collaborative learning. The programme will be overseen by the Chair of the Ashoka Science Advisory Council.

The Lodha Genius Programme is open to students from grades 9 to 12, who can apply through the programme's website until April 05, 2023. The selection process will involve an online aptitude test and an evaluation of the applicant's academic records. The chosen students will then receive a fully-funded four-week on-campus training programme at Ashoka University in Delhi NCR, from May 18th to June 17th, 2023.

Lodha Genius Programme will help bright students become more motivated and self-directed learners, develop their socio-emotional skills and instil in them the spirit of contributing to society. In addition, the distinguished students of the Lodha Genius Programme will receive continued mentoring, with opportunities to refine their skills at the top universities in India and abroad. They will also have the chance to participate in science fairs, work in research labs and access global resources.
